Creative Spirits - Scrapbooking & Paper Crafting
Every Third Friday, 6-10 p.m.

New at Crossroads beginning in June 2008 – a time to gather and enjoy scrapbooking and paper crafts. Bring all your tools and supplies. Creativity not required. Enjoy a light supper and soft drinks, as well as door prizes all evening in a wonderful setting at Crossroads.

This will be a time of food, fellowship and fun. Whether you are just getting started or an experienced pro, come and laugh, listen and learn as we share our creative gifts. Special outreach projects and crafting how-to-clinics are planned throughout the year for those who are interested.

The event continues on the third Friday of each month at Crossroads, from 6-10 p.m. The cost for each evening is $5.00 and includes your meal, beverages and snacks, a chance to win door prizes and participation in projects and clinics!

While advance registration is not required, it would be appreciated to plan for food and drinks. You may register by calling the church office at 653-3330.

Bring your friends and pictures and enjoy a creative evening at Crossroads.

Each week adults are invited to participate in a bible study that considers the scriptural text that will be the focus for the preaching on the following Sunday. The study group meets in the Conference Room and is open to the public. There is no cost for participating. This experience encourages open dialogue and the sharing of personal insights, as the bible passage in considered. You may bring your own bible or bibles are available for use each week. The session is led by the pastor who will be preaching the sermon that coming Sunday.

The suggested donation for each meal is $7.00 for adults and $3.50 for children (age 3-12) and FREE for children under age 3. Reservations are required by noon on Monday each week. You may call the office at First United Methodist Church to make reservations or you may email your request - please give names, how many reservations you desire and a contact phone number. Every Sunday night the junior high and high school students meet at Crossroads for fun, games, activities and time to talk around topics that teens are dealing with today.
